Parklife

Imagine this: You’re 10 years old, and your local park is your canvas. You get to dream up new spaces for wildlife, design spaces to play and meet up, and pitch your ideas to real-life decision-makers. Sounds cool, right? That’s Parklife in action.

We’ve teamed up with GenEarth and Goldsmiths University to deliver Parklife — a bold, creative project where primary school students become park designers, environmental researchers, and community changemakers.

🌱 What’s Parklife All About?

Parklife empowers young people to:

  • Explore their local parks like real scientists and urban planners.

  • Investigate how green spaces can support wellbeing, biodiversity, and community connection.

  • Design their dream parks with everyone in mind from toddlers to dog walkers and bees!

  • Pitch their ideas to local councils and real policymakers who can make change happen.

🐝 Real Impact, Real Change

At Hill Mead Primary School, students didn’t just talk — they took action. Their ideas? More wildlife habitats, better drainage to stop muddy messes, and separate zones for play and pets. Their vision was so powerful, it’s now shaping the future of Brockwell Park. See our case studies below.

🎤 Why It Matters

Parklife isn’t just about parks. It’s about power. It’s about showing young people that their voices matter and that they can lead the way in building greener, fairer communities. It’s about connecting science, creativity, and civic action in a way that’s fun, hands-on, and unforgettable.

🚀 Want to Bring Parklife to Your School?

Let’s make it happen. If you're a teacher, youth leader, or just someone who believes in the power of young voices, get in touch. Together, we can reimagine our parks — and our future.
